A GOLDEN PAST: UNCOVERING THE HISTORY OF JEESIÖ PROPERTY

INITIAL DISCOVERIES

Between 1983-1991, the Finnish Geological Survey (GTK) embarked on a nationwide till sampling endeavor. The Jeesiö property yielded 11 samples surpassing the 95th percentile for gold in this survey, yet subsequent explorations remained unreported.

THE OUTOKUMPU INVESTIGATION

In 1990, Outokumpu probed the Kotalampi anomaly with four drill holes, reaching 419.5 metres. Despite unearthing zones of pronounced fuchsite alteration, gold content did not exceed 0.3 g/t.

COMPREHENSIVE SURVEYS

From 1972 to 2007, the GTK conducted an extensive airborne survey across Finland. Furthermore, 33 shallow drillings were performed on Jeesiö property from 1999 to 2006, likely to confirm bedrock compositions. Despite intriguing findings, Jeesiö remains without historical mineral estimations or significant production records.
